Never Thought I'd Being Thanking Joy Behar

I’d like to think that as a whole,  Americans are honest, hard-working good-hearted people.  Call it a glass half full thing.  So when those in the public eye say something that offends the sensibility of the unwashed masses [as Katie Couric calls us here in fly-over country], no longer do they sit idly by.  Apparently no one has told anybody in the Democratic Party though.  So when Joy starts calling senatorial hopeful a “bitch that needs to go to hell”, those goodhearted people, albeit unwashed, started opening up their checkbooks, for Sharon Angle.  One can’t but wonder if Joy really thinks that her actions today “promote the cause of “all are welcome here on the left”.

The only other theory is that no one in the DNC has the stones to tell Joy to “Stiffle it”.

Either way, to those on the left, please keep it up.  Here’s what happens when a Leftie gets mean.

From the Washington Examiner: Last night about this time, I reported that Sharron Angle’s campaign had a “major fundraising surge,” having raised $137,000 for the say.  The campaign saw a big upswing in donations after The View co-host Joy Behar said of Angle on national television, “She’s going to hell, this bitch!”

By the time the day ended, the campaign reported that Angle had cleared $150,000 for the day. So this morning, the angle campaign sent flowers and a thank you note to Behar, which prompted another charming response from Behar – “I would like to point out that those flowers were picked by illegal immigrants and they’re not voting for you, bitch.” (Yes, one would hope illegal immigrants are not in fact voting, as it is against the law.)

I just spoke to the Angle campaign and it’s another great day, having raised $136,000 more. In fact, the campaign is almost exactly where they were yesterday at this time. The Angle campaign is no doubt hard at work thinking of new and creative ways to annoy Behar.
