Budget Gap? New Cars for EveryOne!

Written By: PT on January 10, 2010 2 Comments

So what do you do when your budget gap hits $32 million?  Easy, go out and buy yourselves new cars.  That’s right folks, the Tucson City Council just bought themselves a fleet of new Toyota Prius’s.  [I can hear it now.  "But they're "green'".]

Except for one guy. That new guy, Steve Kozachik.  He took a passHe’s driving his own car to work. Now there’s an fresh idea being displayed only by the new guy, responsibility.

Kudos to Steve.  Mayor Bob and the rest? Call ‘em.  Ask why they get the new car and we get the cutbacks?  Isn’t there a country song that goes like that?  Here’s Mayor Bob’s number. 520-791-4201
