Stupid Is As Stupid Does

forrest-gump-featherThe Arizona Daily Star showed their true colors today, while at the same time revealing their extraordinarily low IQ.  They endorsed the existing Tucson city council!

Editorial: Council must put Tucson on path to recovery.

Our endorsements: Uhlich, Fimbres, Trasoff offer city best skill sets.  Tucson city government is in deep financial straits. And it has a reputation as being unfriendly to business. We believe both problems must be resolved by the next City Council, which will include three members voters will elect on Nov. 3.
The mayor and City Council — including those who are not up for election this year — must restructure city government to position the community for long-term stability and business growth.
We believe that Karin Uhlich, Ward 3, Richard Fimbres, Ward 5, and Nina Trasoff, Ward 6, have the experience to bring prudent fiscal leadership to the community. Their opponents demonstrated to us a vague understanding of the consequences of misguided public policy.
So according to the Star, the city is screwed and the people who screwed us need to stay there because they posess “prudent fiscal leadership”. Uh-huh
Watch the video and draw your own conclusions…..

I find it very hard to believe that the Star’s circulation continues to fall with such cutting-edge reporting. LMAO

If I am not mistaken, wasn’t it this current city council that got us in this mess? and aren’t the three endorsed, currently part of that same city council? so , wouldn’t we taxpayers be a bit foolish to re-elect the same people who have put us in this pedicament? I guess this is why I quit reading the AZ Star.
