Tea Party backs Police Dept. Liberals go Insane
You can always count on liberals. Whatever the conservative right supports, they will always be there to rage against it. It matters not if it’s the economy, the war on terror, or even Acorn. Saturday September 26th, The Arizona Daily Star wrote this news article,
Tucson Tea Party members rallied in support of law enforcement Friday, catching drivers on their way home from work.
The scene: Protesters, largely wearing the red T-shirts that denote adherents of the local tea party movement, carried coolers, bottles of water and small American flags. The bravest ones — especially those carrying signs with slogans such as “We (heart) TPD” or “More funds for police and public safety” — lined the corner at Alvernon and 22nd Street, waving under the still-hot sun at cars passing by. Less sturdy souls clustered in the meager shade provided by spindly trees lining the sidewalk. When the occasional police cruiser crawled by, crowd members shouted, “Thank you!”
You say, “Hey PT, no problem there, where is all the fuss”? The fuss is in the comment section where you can find these posts:
Lupee posts: police start at 43K a year-at least at u of a pd.i should have gotten a GED and become a cop…would be making a lot more than a teacher with a Phd. amazing what you can do in this country when you get straight Cs in high school!
Frank P posts: The Tea Party group is a walking contradiction, anti-government yet pro police. Get a grip! However, I for one am glad they are out in the streets. It’s fun to see that in fact the emperor of fear and paranoia has no clothes!
Bree posts: If they’re all drinking Kool-aid, why do they call it a tea party?
Alan G posts: Like most liberals here, I believe and agree that the First Amendment should never apply to the Tea Party protesters.
Jacque L posts: There’s a donut shop on Alvernon just south of 22nd! I’ll bet it did tremendous business yesterday!
So there you have it folks. All of these comments from people who would describe themselves as liberals.
I am going out on a limb here and openly declare that I am a conservative and I support puppies and rainbows and flowers, too. Can’t wait for the hate mail to arrive.

This just in:
THORN: A thorn to papatodd for supporting rainbows. Everyone knows that a rainbow is nature’s graffiti and what kind of sick individual would support graffiti, well except for the Tucson City Council, but we’ll give them a “flower” for that ’cause that’s how we roll.
You saw it here first.
