free from prejudice or bigotry; tolerant: a liberal attitude toward foreigners.  

open-minded or tolerant, esp. free of or not bound by traditional or conventional ideas, values, etc. 

Does THAT sound like liberals of the day?  I don&#039;t think so.</description>
